This website collects nothing
No cookies. No analytics. No tracking pixels. No scripts at all. There is no form on this site and nothing to consent to.
The site is served by Cloudflare Pages. Like any web server, Cloudflare keeps short-lived request logs that include the visiting IP address, for security and abuse prevention. We do not read them to identify visitors, and we do not combine them with anything else.
If you email us
We keep your message and your reply thread so we can answer you and remember what we discussed. Business contact details go into our customer record system, which runs on our own servers. We do not sell it and we do not share it with advertisers.
Ask us to delete your record at any time and we will, and we will confirm it.
The free denial review
We ask for an aggregate denial summary: payer, CARC or RARC code, count, and billed amount. We do not want protected health information and we do not ask for it. No patient names, no member identifiers, no dates of service, no dates of birth.
If a file you send us turns out to contain protected health information anyway, we will tell you, delete it, and confirm the deletion in writing. We will not use it.
Summaries you send are used to produce your review and to understand which denial patterns are common. We keep them for twelve months unless you ask us to delete them sooner. They are stored in the United States.
How we found you
If we wrote to you first, your practice came from the NPPES NPI Registry, the public provider directory published by the US Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services. Your name, work email and job title came from commercial business-contact providers. We only handle business contact details, never personal or home details.
Reply with "stop" to any message and we will remove you. Our messages also carry a one-click unsubscribe header. Removal is permanent and we keep a suppression record so you are not contacted again by mistake.
Your rights
You can ask us to:
- tell you what we hold about you,
- correct it,
- delete it,
- stop contacting you.
Email malte@appealhound.com. One person reads that inbox, so you get a real answer. We reply within thirty days and normally much sooner.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising, as those terms are used in California law.
When we become your vendor
Nothing above covers patient data, because we do not handle any until you are a customer. If you become one, a Business Associate Agreement governs protected health information, and that agreement takes precedence over this page wherever the two differ.
Changes
If we change this page we will change the date at the top. If a change matters to someone we already hold data about, we will email them.
